Almost every part of life has a digital element: using the NHS App, shopping online, connecting with loved ones. This means having access to digital devices, connectivity and skills is becoming increasingly essential.

We are aiming to be the most digitally connected in the UK, as part of a wider programme of work we have commissioned Streetwave to conduct a mobile coverage survey of our region. A key output of the survey was a public facing map which outlines the performance of the major network providers for mobile coverage across the entire city region. This will allow you to decide which provider offers the best service in your area.
Liverpool City Region has distinctive world-leading capabilities in AI Solutions & Emerging Technologies, cantered on the partnership between STFC Hartree Centre and IBM Research. It is home to nationally significant assets such as the UK’s first Civic Data Cooperative (CDC), Meta-Liverpool: the world’s first city-scale digital twinning and AI-enabled decision support platform, new national Office for Public Service Innovation pilot and Europe’s largest health-focused 5G mesh network.
